Now before you turn your nose up, think back to that amazing theme tune that inspired more than a few commando rolls across the school field, the cool outfits, and scrunching up your face to mimic BA's "I 'aint gettin' in no plane fooooooooool"...that's right, they're back, albeit in an altogether swankier fashion, as can be seen in the film trailer here.
So can we forgive the fact that this film already has dreadful reviews, will never meet our expectations of clunky camera work and rubbish special effects that we held so dear? Is it enough just to feel that old nostalgia that will bring back our happy childhood memories?
As we sit and ponder this one at iForgiven, conversation (naturally) leads on to Airwolf, He-Man, Thundercats,...and before we know it, we are shouting out our favourite catch phrases and frantically googling for the original theme tunes...
Can this altogether poorer rebirth of an old classic be iForgiven? Have a listen to the linked theme tunes and we're sure you will agree...for the nostalgia alone, of course it can!
